I had different plans for this week’s comic. I was going to make an animated gif and everything. But… it didn’t work out. So instead you all get this little bit of truth: some museums are boring. Yeah, I know. Mind blown. Right? But seriously, I’m just tired of everybody acting like museums are magical places […]
Working on this image, I decided to expand it and give the viewer a wider shot, so that the murderous group of adventurers running through the street works better with the composition. It’s got lot’s of details and is taking quite a while, but dammit I’m having fun!
I’d like to dedicate this comic to all my friends from Mexico. So yes, I bought some American cheese slices with Jalapeño this week. And yes, they were awesome. And yes, I do believe everything in Mexico is spicy. And yes, I think that’s awesome. And finally, yes. I do believe Mexican cows probably have […]
With the client having chosen a position for the dragon, now I’m exploring different ways to pose her neck. This is a Black Dragon, she she spits acid. Going by the classic D&D parameters, I’ve placed them in a sort of arid, blasted terrain. A sort of acid swamp. Once this is defined, we move […]
Today’s comic is filled with references. If you can get them all, you’re definitely my kind of gamer. Can you? NOTE: Yeah, there’s a mistake in the text. I’ll fix it tomorrow. Now sleep.
So this commission is for a book cover, of a novel called “No Monologuing, Period”. There isn’t much to say, yet. But I’ll be posting more information about the book as I go along. There’s still plenty of stuff missing, plus an extra character in the background. But we’ve started, and that’s what counts.
I’m having way too much fun with this commission, I’ll admit. So anyway, the idea here is that I’m exploring different possibilities for what the groom might look like (naturally, I’ll be exploring the bride as well). I’m not trying to come up with a definitive design yet, but much rather see what elements work […]
In this part of the process, I’m sketching the town through which the group of adventurers are running around, carrying a sofa. Keep in mind that a lot of this scene might not be seen in the final image, because of composition. But it’s a good idea to have more of the scene than you need, […]
My rule with art is that I don’t do portraits, unless there’s something abnormal about them. So here I am, checking out different poses so I can draw this couple that’s getting married. You know, which one looks better, more loving… Oh? What? Yeah… did I mention they’re supposed to be a couple of Cenobites? […]
